In October of last year, we opened the doors to our first-ever Commodity Flagship store in SoHo, New York City. Located at 113 Crosby Street, it’s the only place where you can fully immerse yourself in the world of Commodity and experience Scent Space in a whole new way.
More recently, it also became an award-winning space: winner of Interior Design's 2025 NYCxDESIGN Retail Award.
Here’s an insider look at what makes this store so special.
An Immersive Experience
Our store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a physical expression of our brand DNA and Scent Space concept.
If you’re new to Commodity, Scent Space is our unique approach to projection. Each of our fragrances is available in 3 versions—Personal, Expressive and Bold—each designed to match how far you want your scent to travel.
In-store, you can explore Scent Space in person through interactive displays and thoughtful design elements that guide you through each level of projection.
Inspired by our Exploration Kit, which provides a full introduction to Scent Space, the store layout invites visitors to discover fragrance in two ways:

Along the walls, where you can shop by olfactory preference (sampling one fragrance in all 3 of its Scent Space versions).

In the center of the store, where you can shop by projection (sampling all fragrances within one Scent Space Collection). The custom “donut” displays found here are sculpted to represent our 100ml product sleeves.
The checkout counter continues the story. Designed to resemble a 100ml bottle sliding from its sleeve, it brings a tactile, architectural element to the space. A glass-encased showcase of our Editions Collection is tucked inside the counter—presented like a museum archive, highlighting our history in scent form.

Editions Collection
Twice a year, we make our Archive fragrances—now part of our Editions Collection—available online for a limited time. But at our SoHo Flagship, these scents live on year-round.
These Archives are filled with cult-favorites like Rain, Wool and Bergamot that have been available since our earliest days as a brand.

Candle Collection
Stop by our store, and you’ll usually find a candle burning.
Our luxury Concrete Candle Collection is exclusive to the SoHo store and Commodity.Circle members. Poured in custom-made, hexagonal concrete vessels (inspired by the molecular structure of fragrance), the candles feature non-toxic black wax and emit the same iconic aromas as our Expressive fragrances.
Outside of the store, our luxury candles can only be accessed by members of Commodity.Circle, our free rewards program. In addition to exclusive candle access, members also receive early access to launches and sales, members-only event invites, and earn points every time they shop.
Where Fragrance Meets Community
Beyond an immersive space and an exclusive destination, this flagship is also a place to gather—-a space to connect with our community, collect your feedback, and educate on our fragrances and our Scent Space concept. At the helm is Bryson, our talented and insightful Store Manager, who brings it all to life with warmth and expertise—underscored in our hundreds of glowing Google Maps reviews.
