“In creating Spice+ Bold, I sought to deepen the ritual of preparing chai with a darker, more intense expression of the moment it simmers to its richest point. Safraleine emerges with a smoldering, textured opulence. I amplified its presence with Cardamom and Allspice, building a slow, lingering heat. The sweetness turns more indulgent with Cinnamon Sugar and settles into Tonka Bean. The result is darker, more addictive, and impossible to walk away from.” –Christelle Laprade

"The inspiration for Spice comes from a surreal collage of elements from my early childhood. Having grown up in an Armenian household in Kuwait, I was exposed to a unique combination of tastes, scents and environments. The days were dry, dusty and hot. A terracotta and sand colored haze covered everything the eye could see. Dry and exotic spices embedded every dish on our dinner table. These spices were contrasted and made even more decadent with dripping sweet sugars all over our desserts.
